Following Lilygo’s replacement of the “historic” 2.9 “screen sold with the TTGO T5 V2.4, only this screen is supported with 2.9” firmware version!!! (in addition to the old version)

So you have to buy a TTGO T5 V2.4 without screen and buy a Good Display GDEW029M06 screen separately.
